Community and the Elementary Maritime School

Sailing Club Delfin is a diverse social core around which gather people with different experiences and knowledge, all eager to share them generously.

It has always nurtured a healthy sporting community, united not only by a love for sailing, but also by a passion for science, ecology, and the wonders of both the macro and micro cosmos.

Delfin as a community is made up of people who love their town with all their hearts. Many within the cruising sailing section, alongside preserving the tradition of special sailing skills and knowledge, dedicate themselves through the organization of the WINDFEST to doing something beautiful for their town – making it a more vibrant place to live while celebrating the good human spirit and all that it can achieve.

Special attention is given to the younger generations who, through Delfin’s “Elementary Maritime School” – also known as the “School of the Sea” – grow into skilled sailors, true people of the sea, carrying with them a craft to last a lifetime.

And so, each day flows like the tide, a circle without end – as if we were chasing the horizon, trying to square the circle at sea.
