Delfin Sailing School

#BeOptimist

Every participant of our #BeOptimist sailing school gets the opportunity to learn the basics of sailing, as well as important knowledge about sailboats, knots, the sea, winds, and behaviour at sea.  Part of the training takes place in the club hangar, where children learn the theoretical basics and get introduced to the sailboat itself. After that comes the best part — heading out to sea, where, accompanied by coaches in safety boats, the real sailing adventure begins.

Each participant receives a diploma upon completing the training program, after demonstrating the skills and knowledge they have acquired. Children who wish to continue sailing after the course will have the opportunity to join our regular racing team, which trains throughout the year and takes part in regattas and competitions.
