The Sailing Club Delfin announces that on Wednesday, September 17, from 5 to 7 p.m., at the stand of the Montenegrin Sailing Federation within the program of The Ocean Live Park, it will hold a presentation titled “JK Delfin – Tivat’s Elementary Maritime School.” On this occasion, the club will present not only its sporting achievements but also the various projects it carries out in the local community, aiming to show that sailing is not just a sport, but also a skill that enriches society and culture.
Special attention will be given to the WindFest, an event organized by JK Delfin in the pre-season period, which brings together sports, cultural, educational, and entertainment programs. Through this festival, the club strives to promote sailing among young people, foster maritime awareness, and strengthen the bond between the sea and the community.
During the presentation, two documentary films by Dušan Vuleković will also be screened: “The Town of Good Winds” and “The Wind of Boka”, both of which vividly portray maritime traditions, the wind as a symbol, and its role as a powerful unifying element of the coastal communities of Boka Kotorska.
JK Delfin warmly invites everyone interested to attend this presentation at Ocean Live Park, to support the development of maritime identity, sailing, and community engagement – and to discover together how sport, culture, and education can sail hand in hand.
